THE WORLD WILL READ AGAIN.

I havent been posting very much lately. I really havent had much to blog on about. I have some free time right now so here goes........

Well Ive been reading ALOT. Ive actually been reading books that Ive already read once, twice, thrice! I love gaining new perspective on old favorites. I read Flowers for Algernon a Must Read for anyone and the Starlight Crystal, not as good as when I was a kid. My good friend from Chicago sent me two books that I truly love. The Great Gatsby and Of Mice and Men. Im excited to read them. I do want to fit in new reads though too. I am now starting The Secret Life of Bees. I hear its very good.

Ive also been very busy celebrating my birthday. ALL MONTH. Now Im sick as a dog because I supressed it all this time but it was well worth it!
I partied hard and had fun with my loved ones...pics come next.

I also went to go see Queen Gaga!

A while back I wished for more friends with common interests. Well, Ask and ye shall receive. :)
I caught up with an old friend and we have so many things in common that its unbelievable. Also, I met a guy a few months ago through a
mutual friend and we became facebook friends. He lives in Chicago. We started emailing back and forth and I found that we have
so many things in common and many of the same interests. Its awesome!!!! Im so happy. Its a sign that Im off to a good start.
I believe that your friends should bring out the best in you not the worst. Through these newfound friendships I have renewed interests
in things that I had forgetten but were once huge passions of mine. My friend from chicago loves to read so we are going to be
starting a kind of book swap/book club and discuss and we talk about so many different things and ideas. Its really fun. My other
friend is getting me to want to start up with my photography again and writing. She also wants to broaden her horizons as I do, like go to
museums and aquariums or road trips and traveling. I even dug through a box of my books and pulled a few out that Im going to reread.
Flowers For Algernon, The Giver and The Picture of Dorian Gray. Another friend recommended The Secret Life of Bees so I
ordered it and it arrived today. Im so excited and I feel that IM starting my life in so many ways. Everybody deserves a second chance.




Im also going to take up bike riding. As a means of exercise and trasportation.
Time to start looking for a new place as well. A little slice of my own. I miss my independence. Im taking it back.

My lackadaisical 4th of July.

I spent all weekend straight lounging. I just took it easy all weekend. I only left the house on Saturday with Mother and went and ran errands. I went into the store to find a new purse and came out having spent 200.00!!!!! I purchased a lot of stuff though. I am also excited to say that I also finally got a new camera. It is a FUJIFILM FinePix camera. Very basic but Im not sure if I am liking it. I am going to test it out during the thirty day period and definitely take back if Im not satisfied. Since I didnt leave the house after buying I only took a few pics. Mainly of the family cat.





I also wanted to mention that I got in touch with an old friend recently. Rosie, but she goes by Irene now. To each his own. I still call her RoRo on accident or on purpose. Not sure yet. We met up last week and its was like we never lost touch and the good thing is we have a lot of the same interests. In previous posts I mentioned I wanted to meet more people with like interests. Ask and ye shall receive. :0)

Ive been watching a lot of Lost this weekend. Which reminds me, I need to get back on that.

Im also going to watch Breakfast At Tiffany's for the first time to wind down this wonderfully chill weekend.

I know that I am very very very late to the Lost train but I am almost done with Lost Season Two. I didnt like Rose throughout the entire time Ive been watching but I love love love her and Bernard together. Im a sucker for love.

I love Leo

I love Leo. He is the best actor of our generation! I am so excited for this movie to come out. My other favorite actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in it too. ahhhhh how I adore him. Also "Handsome Bob" from rocknrolla is on it too. He is absolutely beautiful!

Ugh Ellen Page. She walks like a man right?
