School Daze......

even Kitty is pooped out from all the homework. Seems like I never finish
my homework,





My outfit for the first day of school. I have been going much more relaxed since but the first day I wanted to go
just a lil mod.


I want to have this dress shortened. I wish I had a full length pic of the dress but I had
no one to take it for me. Next time that I wear it, I will.

I quit my job just so that I could go to school full time. This is what I wanted right?????
I'm now in week three of school. I started all over again, but that is for another
post. I feel like a kid again. I really regret not taking school seriously before and
wasting so much time. Better late than never but never late is better.
Im just glad I got a second chance and I am going to take full advantage.
As for work, Im taking my time on that. No sense in rushing the inevitable.
Plus I dont want to just take any job and lose focus on school. I have also decided to become more active
in school. I joined the environmental club. It is something I am passionate about
so why not combine the two. At the orientation we were given little gifts
to choose from. I chose this cute little lady bug made from recycled items.
Isn't it cute?


Im excited about the club. I know are going to make some great contributions
and bring awareness.

I went to go see Eat Pray Love. I have to say, I thorougly enjoyed it. It was just lovely. Not to mention all of the handsome men
in the movie such as Javier Bardem, James Franco, and Billy Crudup. Great cast of actors and I just adore Julia Roberts. It was
very inspiring and at the same time sad. A lot of heartache in the movie. I dont want to give anything away. I do want to watch it
again and I would purchase it on dvd so that says alot.





I also finally finished The Secret Life of Bees. It was such a good book. I now cant wait to see the movie. I watched the trailer
yesterday and it seems worthwhile. Movie adaptations normally suck if you have already read the book. Sometimes, well most times I think
books should be left alone and not adapted into movies. Nine out of ten are no good. Im going to start watching the movies first and then
reading the book. Otherwise Im left disappointed once the credits begin to roll.

Next on the reading list is Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. Ive read it before but I want to read it again. Its a nice little read
before school starts.



On that note, Im going back to school. Starting over. Im beyond excited and cant wait for what lies ahead. Chasing my dreams and not just
following them. Im going to be blogging much more and just exploring my creative side. Finally, Im not afraid anymore to take chances and
do the things that Ive always wanted to do.

I heard Harvest Moon by Neil Young for the first time. Its one of the most beautiful songs Ive ever heard and his voice with all of its
pain. Its entrancing.

Im back to my writing again. I gave it up for a while to pursue other interests, i.e. partying. This weekend I took a break
from the drinking scene and just stayed in. I didnt necessarily get anything done but at least I wasnt asleep all weekend
recovering from the night before. I feel great I have to say. It felt so much better not to be hungover. Not to feel like half
a person. Its been so hard to give up drinking but I think that I can do it now. Giving up sometimes is the only option. Im
giving up drinking and giving myself the life that I deserve. I am so excited for the future. I can see beyond the horizon and
I see me there....smiling. Its my time and I am going to take full advantage of it.

A dream is only a dream until you write it down, then it becomes a goal. Ive never been much of an ambitious or motivated person
but now its time to start. Start my life.

Yet, I am my own worst enemy. I second guess myself first. Ive been this way since I can remember. Years of negative thoughts
and settlement. Im ready to begin.

Its a new day everyday. Time to start living and thats exactly what I plan to do.

UGHHHH!!!!!!!

I went the the stylist yesterday to get a TRIM!!!!! Just a trim. Im trying to grow my bangs out but keep the sides short but my stylist took me right back to square one! Ughhhhhh my hair is sooooooo short! Im very depressed. :( It took forever to get my bangs even past my eyes. This annoys me, why cant a stylist do what you want????
grrrrrrr Im so upset.

Im not going out for a few months!

I am simply infatuated with Julian and The Strokes at the moment. I cant get enough of them. I have also liked the band but now I love them.




they may be my favorite band of the 2000s. Pretty much my favorite rock band right now. They are just amazing. The guitars, that voice, that face!!!! Im like a teenager again!
